Miniatures and What Not

Hey everyone, I am getting ready to start a Star Wars game. Unfortunately it is already full, so I am not looking for players. However, this is the first game I am running, so unlike some of you seasoned pros, I don't have a bookshelf full of tools, figures, etc. Where can I get stuff for cheap, like random figures and dice? Also, any other recommendations on cheap but useful things for running a campaign?
