A Brand New Adventure

Hey gang, I am starting my own thing for a few months. I have my own meetup group down where I live. I cannot imagine that there will be any risk of my pulling players from the Altamonte Springs group due to the distance. So if I must be a traitorous cur, at least I won't be thieving regulars. We will see how it goes over the next few months. I will still post on the boards about random things and such.

Wish me luck or curse my name. Either is fine. I will still be at the April 11th meetup to say my goodbyes in person, but that will be the last one for awhile. I figured it would be good to let everyone know before they send out the automatic email from Meetup.com.

Seeing as how I rarely make it to the meetups, I can't say if I know you, but even if I don't thanks for being a part of this roleplaying group, and best of luck to you wherever you go.

Well it has been four meetups and things are going well. Granted the first meetup was not stellar. Half the players that showed up were from a meetup group that closed it’s “doors” and went to a private site several months ago. If anyone knows the name “Majestic”, you know what group I am talking about.

Yeah, didn’t work out with them. Only two were members and one was a guest so only had to remove two members at that point. Since then the groups has acquired 5 regular players and have reached the size I was hoping for. I really did not expect that kind of payout from the Meetup.com site so quickly.

We are playing savage worlds in a traditional fantasy setting and it is quite enjoyable. Honestly, it was everything I had hoped for. I don’t mean to sound like I am bragging and I hope I do not come off that way. I just figured if anybody was wondering what happened to me. I am not dead and all is well.

Congrats, honestly I'm thinking of saving up the money to start a d20 group here in Deltona, I don't think I'd be poaching any altamonte springs members, since I haven't really had much luck forming deltona groups from there. I had a group for just about two years now and it just fell apart. So now I'm looking for new people to play with.
